Sharif Milk Products (Pvt.) Limited was incorporated on 7th September, 2011. We are engaged in the processing and marketing of pasteurized milk and milk products of the highest quality under the brand name-Anhaar.
ANHAAR
The word “Anhaar” literally translates to-the river (Referring to the rivers in Paradise). Anhaar as a brand has become synonymous with quality milk free from steroids, breeding hormones and any other impurities. Our milk supply comes from our own dairy farms housing over 3000
Australian Friesian cows.
Our farms are located at the outskirts of Punjab, the fodder for our cows is produced in-house and the milking of animals is done under strictly monitored hygienic conditions with automated milking parlors.
PASTEURIZED MILK
Our milk is pasteurized, using High Temperature Short Time (HTST) pasteurization, which means that to protect our consumers from the harmful bacteria present in raw milk, our milk goes through a time bound heating process to destroy harmful micro-organisms making it safe to consume. Pasteurization kills all the pathogenic bacteria while homogenization gives milk an evenly rich taste. This processed milk is then poured into international standard food grade bottles under hygienic controls so that the pure wholesome goodness is preserved and brought fresh to retail customers.
Unlike pasteurized milk, UHT milk is thermally processed so as to produce a product which has an extended shelf life. However, in the process many of the nutrients are eliminated. Pasteurization does not kill all micro-organisms in milk, but is intended to kill some bacteria and make some enzymes inactive making it a healthier alternative than UHT milk.
Our commitment to excellence has propelled us towards expanding our portfolio to better meet consumer needs. Therefore, Anhaar today, has an extensive range of milk products which includes not only pasteurized milk (Whole Milk, Full Cream Milk & Low Fat Milk), but also Flavored Yogurt (Strawberry, Peach, Mango), Chunky Yogurt (Strawberry), Flavored Milk (Chocolate, Strawberry, Cardamom), Desi Ghee, Raita, Laban, Yogurt (Sweet, Plain) and Greek Yogurt (Plain,Mango,Strawberry).
We recently introduced breakfast milk in the market which is the first product of its kind offering fresh cereals mixed with milk. Moreover, we were the first ones to launch Greek Yogurt in Pakistan.
